here my dye work on black jodhpur boots

paint: angelus white



the boot on the right was cleaned with solvent (looks less shiny)


the boot on the left after 1 coat of paint, the one on the right after 2

after 3 layers
each boot took 20 minutes of work for painting.
this has allowed about 20 minutes of drying between each coat

final work (5 coats)

Great work!
I guess the white paint will be scraped off a little after some trooping?
Since the original boots were painted this way, that could look more authentic than TKboots.
