Call for R2D2 parts run

Dear All,

I know that some of you are looking for building an life size R2D2. So do I.
I would like to know how many of you would be interested to get alloy/metal parts (legs, shoulders, arms, brackets, body, skirt etc....)? The more we are, the cheaper it will be.
I am intent to do my R2D2 in alloy or aluminium. It is the best result. It is also the more durable material. You can check many website about R2 units.
I got couple of good and skills factories. Not cheap but willing to provide quality and service.
I cannot tell the price for such parts now but I need to know how many guys are interested.
We could start with outer feet for exemple. See how it work, how much it cost.
I will take care of the design and drawings. Of course, items will be "at cost". no profit, no margine.

Basicly the cost depends on componements. For such R2 we are talking of few thousand $. Maybe 2 to 3K.
Time....between one to two years at least.
The more fellow we are the less costly it is.

Awesome!! Does it can be remote conrol? i mean except the voice and the machine tools inside. and how long it will be finished?

Yes, remote control and all the good stuff. Time should be around 2 to 3 years..
